In April of this year (2010) I went on another exiting adventure with my goddaughter Veronica and her mom Lucy. There we met with Vero's friend Sandra. The first night we went to Epcot. The following day walked ALL of the Magic Kingdom and on sunday we went back to Epcot.Had a wonderful time as always, did I mention we did a lot of walking? Anyway, I made this Mickey Mouse album for Veronica. I designed the Mickey head with my Pazzles Inspiration cutter.....(no big design since it's just 3 circles) and cut the chipboard pages with my Pazzles cutting machine. Took it all to a crop, where I spent almost 2 days putting it all together. At the end of the crop I won the prize for the best altered book!! After that I also did an 8x8 scrapbook for Lucy. and another one for me. So by the end of the 3 day crop I had had ENOUGH of Mickey, Donald and the whole Disney Gang!!! The following week I gave them their books and that was the best part of all!!!
Andres is my goddaughter Veronica's brother. He is now 17 years old and has been going with his parents and us to the Florida Keys every summer for the past 10 years. We have shared so many amazing memories. I have watched him grow up to be the wonderful young man that he is today. He has had some medical issues recently (and is now of his way to recovery) which prompted me to do this album for him. To remind him of all the fun he's had in the past and all the wonderful things that are ahead for him. I had fun doing the layouts and remembering things I'd forgotten, like when I took pictures of him swallowing his first pill!!! He is one very lucky and blessed young man, has very loving parents and a lot of friends and family that love him dearly. And I am happy to include myself as one of them. To see it at a slower pace click on view all & it will take you to photobucket slide show or place curser above view all and you can stop each picture.
In April of this year I went with Carlos to New Orleans. While there he attended a conference where he received a Diplomate Certification in Implants. In order to receive this title/ certification he had to do over 100 implants plus the prosthesis for them. He had to set up a booth at the conference where other dentists walked by and Carlos showed and explained the cases he had chosen. He spent many months preparing for the test that he had to take. I am very proud of my hubby this was an impressive accomplishment and a tribute to his dedication to dentistry.
In March 2007 my friend Lucy and I went to visit her daughter Veronica (my sweet god-daughter and the BEST goddaughter in the whole world!). She lived in New Braunfels, Texas at the time. We did some sightseeing in San Antonio and had such a great time. Veronica is now back in Miami, so she is much closer. But we'll always remember the wonderful time we had!FOR A BETTER VIEW OF ALL THE PICTURES CLICK ON VIEW ALL IMAGES.
